Information we use
We use the information needed to provide the service: your account details, assessment type, work information you choose to enter, generated drafts, and purchase status.
How the service is provided
Sign-in and session management are provided by Clerk. Assessment drafts are stored in our secured application database so that you can return to them from another computer. Credit card information is handled by Stripe; Speedy Pen does not receive or store your credit card information.
AI-assisted drafting
We send the work information you enter to an AI service to generate draft language. This is a commercial, unclassified drafting tool, not a secure government system. Do not enter classified, CUI, export-controlled, Privacy Act, or other sensitive information.
Retention
We keep one active annual assessment and one active midyear assessment for each signed-in account. You can replace an active annual assessment by starting a new annual assessment. Download your completed assessment for your own records. Annual assessments may be removed after the annual cycle closes, currently planned for February 1 following the cycle.
